husqvarna embroidery card reader I just like to know.I am having an issue with my 3d card reader.
I am currently operating on a laptop with xp sp3.
 in november my 3d card reader quit reading my card.
Not knowing, i purchased a new 3d card.
The card worked for about 2 months and the same problem occurred again.
This time i purchased a new card reader which came with a new card.
The new card reader worked 56 times before i received an error message when reading the new card.
Please contact microsoft with this error.

Which reader writer unit are you using?
 a viking smart card station, reader writer unit from viking or a generic one like the ultimate box?
Which software do you use to run it?
The fact that it works for a while suggests that it is not the fault of the card reader but rather your computer.
 have you loaded any new software that could interfere with the transfer or do you have children playing games on the computer?
Have you tried reinstalling the software?
Will the software recognize the card at all?
Is it just the transfer that will not work?
Do you have an integrated graphics card?
Have you tried a restore on the computer?

I have an update that i would like to share with you to lessen others frustration.
Bottom line, the problem is fixed.
The problem was corrupted data on my 3d card.
How it got there is still an unknown.
I, too, thought the problem was the computer so everything was reloaded onto another xp computer and when the problem reoccurred we knew it had to be the card.
It was engineers at work that decided we needed to find a way to delete the files on the card that was causing the problem.
Selected one of the designs for sewing.
After the design was written to the card we reread the card and the design was displayed.
Although my 950e is an older model, it still sews out beautifully.
